M-Balm is a two-component epoxy wood repair compound designed to permanently restore wood damaged by moisture, decay, insects or weathering.

Once mixed, it penetrates the wood fibres and cures into a strong, durable, water-resistant repair. It is ideal for rebuilding missing sections, filling cavities and restoring damaged wood prior to refinishing.

Its non-shrinking formula bonds exceptionally well to wood and can be sanded, drilled, screwed, carved or painted once fully cured. M-Balm is an ideal solution for restoring log homes, timber homes, beams, logs and other exterior wood structures.

 

  • Remove all loose, decayed or damaged wood.
  • Ensure the remaining wood is clean, dry and sound.
  • Mix both components according to the recommended ratio until a uniform colour is obtained.
  • Apply the mixed compound immediately, pressing it firmly into the repair area to eliminate air pockets.
  • Shape the repair before the material hardens if necessary.
  • Once fully cured, the repair can be sanded, drilled, screwed, planed or painted.
  • Finish by applying a protective coating such as Lifeline Ultra-7 or Lifeline Advance.
