Perma-Chink – Flexible sealant for wide log home joints

• Le support doit être propre, sec et exempt d'huile, de cire ou de toute substance susceptible de nuire à l'adhérence.
• Installer un fond de joint (Backer Rod) ou un matériau de support adapté dans l'espace à traiter. Le mastic doit adhérer aux deux côtés du joint, mais pas au fond. 
• Insérer la cartouche de 11 oz ou 30 oz dans un pistolet manuel ou électrique adapté.
• Couper la canule selon la largeur du joint souhaitée.
• Appliquer Perma-Chink de manière régulière sur le fond de joint. L'épaisseur recommandée est d'environ 5/16" à 3/8" (8 à 10 mm) et ne doit pas dépasser 1/2" (13 mm). 
• Vaporiser légèrement la surface du mastic avec de l'eau immédiatement après l'application afin de faciliter le lissage.
• Lisser le joint à l'aide d'une spatule plate en exerçant une légère pression afin d'obtenir une finition régulière et d'assurer une bonne adhérence sur les bords. 
• Éviter l'application en plein soleil ou sur un bois très chaud.
• Nettoyer les outils à l'eau et au savon immédiatement après utilisation.
